Above 2,500 companies are availing the marketing services being given by Epsilon. Epsilon provides them service to send emails to their potential customers. The marketing company guaranteed their clients that only the customer email addresses are exposed by this security breach. The other confidential information is still safe. The companies are a bit insecure at the probability that the information could be used by the hackers to send malicious script, spam and viruses to their customers. The companies are taking the precautionary measures to keep their customers safe from any threat or virus. The possible cautions and suggestions have been announced by the buying companies for their customers. The customers are warned to stay careful while sending any response through email and avoid giving out personal information including credit card numbers, social security numbers, password etc. The matter is being investigated by a Dallas-based marketing company.
