Hostirian LLC, a StLouis Missouri subsidiary of River City Internet Group, has announced today that it has acquired NPS Internet Solutions, a web hosting services company. NPS Internet Solutions, or NPSIS, is targeted towards small businesses and non-profit organizations (NPOs). The acquisition allows Hostirian to provide better customer service and utilize their data centers. KenCox, Hostirian’s Vice President of Operations, declared:

“NPSIS is a natural fit for Hostirian. NPSIS offers a unique niche of hosting products and services that complement our “Business Class” Shared, VPS, Dedicated and Colocation services, providing real value to business professionals worldwide. Success in business depends on business partnerships and acquisitions that benefit both parties. NPSIS clients will profit from Hostirian’s data center infrastructure, monitoring, environmental controls, and service level agreements. One of our strengths is our hands-on approach to customer support, pre and post sales – and our ability to provide a stable secure platform for our clients.”

In the web hosting industry recently, mergers and acquisitions have become commonplace. The idea is to cut costs, provide better customer service, utilize superior infrastructure, and ultimately increase profits. This works especially well when tasking employees who may have not been as preoccupied. Even without the full details, it is clear to see that Ken Cox has made a wise decision that will increase Hostirian’s revenue as well as benefit former NPSIS customers who will receive improved services.
