Internet Systems Consortium Chooses UnitedLayer
UnitedLayer L.L.C. is a colocation and managed infrastructures firm. UnitedLayer announced today that “Internet Systems Consortium”, or I.S.C., has chosen it as it’s “colocation partner”. The contract detailing the arrangement for multiple years will provide “optical cross connect” (switches optical signals in a fiber optic network) and IP services at UnitedLayer’s San Francisco data center facility.
ArmanKhalili, the UnitedLayer CEO, mentioned the positive situation for his company:
“We are excited and honored to provide services to ISC. ISC’s teams are key contributors to the commercial grade open source software for the Internet Community. UnitedLayer is a major supporter of open source software and will work tirelessly to provide exceptional services to our Internet Community”
PaulVixie, President of Internet Systems Consortium, kept his evaluation of UnitedLayer services simple:
“The customer service provided at the 200 Paul location in San Francisco has exceeded expectations. We are happy to continue our business relationship with United Layer.”
A rather simple compliment. Paul Vixie is a big name in the open source community. Paul is known as a bit of a straight talker. Usually most business people for these press releases, issue a long superfluous statement, but Paul’s simple statement is a far better indicator of their quality than the usual business jargon.
